Bead Jewlery
Bead jewelry is created from many different materials.
Common examples of these include glass, plastic, and stone. However,
beads are also created from such materials as wood, bone, metal, shell,
coral, clay, synthetics, ceramics, seeds, and even paper.
The use of bead jewelry has existed for many years. In fact, it is
thought to be the oldest form of jewelry. The earliest known examples
of jewelry were two beads created from the shells of sea snails. These
were dated back to 100,000 years ago.
Bead jewelry it mostly defined by incorporating decorative items which
are pierced for threading. String may be used as well as metal threads
or any long and thin resource. Sometimes they may be simply adhered
to a surface through the use of such things as clay.
